Man arrested after garda’s wife seriously injured in hit and run
Gardaí arrested a man in his 30s and seized his car for forensic examination after the 52-year-old woman was knocked down near Cobh at around 8.30am on Sunday.
She was walking at Ballynoe Hill, on the northern outskirts of the town, when she was struck by a car that failed to stop at the scene.
