More consumers are cooking from scratch and growing more confident in the kitchen.

More consumers are cooking from scratch as culinary confidence up

According to Bord Bia, 67% of Irish people now cook meals using basic ingredients, up from 56% in 2005. It has found 70% of people now enjoy being able to cook a great meal — up from 57% in 2005, with 15% saying they are passionate about cooking.

New Zealand, German and Spanish people get the biggest kick out of creating great food.
