Price hikes for bus and rail services

Consumers are facing more bad news with confirmation that bus and rail fares are set to increase over the next two months.

The National Transport Authority confirmed fares on monthly, annual, and taxsaver tickets for Bus Éireann, Iarnród Éireann, Dublin Bus, and Luas services will increase from Nov 1.

Cash fares, Leap Card, and pre-paid tickets on the same services will increase from Dec 1. All the new prices will be maintained for a 12-month period.
