Crime boss Gilligan to ‘swagger’ out of prison

Prison sources expect former crime boss John Gilligan will “swagger out” from Portlaoise Prison when he is released today.

The 61-year-old is not going to get any special treatment to help him hide from the massed media and will be simply shown the front gate.

Insiders believe he will be released sometime between 8am and 9am.
