House prices fall but Dublin rises

Property prices in most of the country are continuing to fall with only Dublin experiencing growth, the latest survey from property website Daft.ie shows.

House prices fall but Dublin rises

Asking prices fell on average 6.7% in the counties outside Dublin over the past 12 months — the complete opposite of what happened in Dublin where prices rose by 7.7% in the same period.

The experience in the rest of the country was by no means homogenous, however, with price falls ranging from a modest 3.1% in Galway City to 19.5% in Co Laois.
