Killer rapist living in Limerick following prison release

Gardaí are closely monitoring Ian Horgan’s movements after he moved in with Teresa O’Neill in the Ballinacurra Weston area of Limerick following his release last week from Wheatfield Prison.

Teresa’s brother, Thomas, led a brutal gang-rape of a German tourist in Cratloe Woods in 2004 when he was just 16. O’Neill and four others attacked a couple sitting in a parked car in the wooded area. They locked the woman’s male companion in the boot before taking turns raping her in a 45-minute ordeal.
