Bee to remove sting of travel

Laughter will be the best medicine on board the world’s first interactive children’s ambulance, which will travel the roads of Ireland taking the trauma out of a little one’s hospital visit.

The ‘Bumble-ance’ is kitted out with DVDs, a PlayStation, wi-fi and plenty of other fun things to make a journey to hospital a more relaxing experience for a young child.

The ambulance that looks like a giant bumble bee on wheels is the brainchild of Tony Heffernan from The Saoirse Foundation.
