Gun victim shot up to eight times

Gardaí are examining CCTV footage for clues as to the identities of attackers who gunned down a 21-year-old man in west Dublin at the weekend.

Dean Johnson, from Neilstown, was shot up to eight times to the head and body as he walked home just after midnight.

Gardaí received a 999 call at 12.20am on Saturday. Johnson was rushed to Tallaght Hospital, but was pronounced dead just half an hour later.
