Anti-bullying ads to feature in school books

Anti-bullying awareness adverts will be inserted in a large percentage of primary and secondary school textbooks by the end of 2014.

The adverts will offer advice as well as helpline details and are also aimed at promoting improved mental health in children.

The scheme is a joint initiative by the Department of Education and the Irish Educational Publishers’ Association (IEPA).
