Widow to tackle rugby greats in rent row

Few people would relish taking on such rugby greats as Syd Millar, Ronnie Dawson and Tom Kiernan, but a pensioner with pluck has in the Circuit Civil Court.

Maureen Keane is suing Millar, Dawson, Kiernan and William Samuel Hewitt Lavery in their role as trustees of the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU). Each defendant has been a former president of the IRFU.

The elderly widow of the late David Keane, Burrow Road, Sutton, Dublin, is also suing Dara Ó Briain’s company, Happy Endings Productions Limited, which makes TV films.
