Only low level of cocaine in French’s body, inquest hears

Only a low level of cocaine and a quantity representing “a sip of alcohol” were found in the body of model Katy French, her inquest heard yesterday.

The 24-year-old was pronounced dead on Dec 6, 2007 — four days after she was brought to Our Lady’s Hospital by businessman Kieron Ducie and his then girlfriend, Ann Corcoran.

Toxicology reports challenged original claims by Mr Ducie and Ms Corcoran that they had not seen Ms French take any drugs.
