Drunk youths lure dog to death

Limerick gardaí have confirmed they are investigating a complaint that a dog was lured to his death in a cruel game by a group of drunken youths near the University of Limerick campus.

The incident occurred over two weeks ago.

A Garda spokesman at Henry St said: “It is being investigated by a community policing unit.”
