Coalition spends €2.5m jetting ministers across globe

The Government has spent over €2.5m on jetting Cabinet members and officials around the globe since the Coalition took office.

The Taoiseach, Tánaiste, and ministers built up the costs using the two government jets to fly to locations in Europe, America, Asia, Russia, and Africa.

Figures released by the Department of Defence show the breakdown of which ministers flew where and at what cost, and how long the trips were.
