Garda Donohoe’s family honoured

The killing of Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe was an unspeakable crime which changed the lives of his family, according to Justice Minister Alan Shatter.

Mr Shatter made the comments as Det Garda Donohoe’s family received a special medal in his honour.

Mr Shatter and Garda Commissioner Martin Callinan attended Dublin Castle as Det Garda Donohoe’s wife Caroline and two children were presented with the remembrance medal.
