Man fights for life after being shot four times

Sean Enright, who survived a previous attempt on his life in 2011, was attacked outside the Universal Warrior gym on the Ballyboggan industrial estate in north Dublin at about 10.40am. He operates the gym with associate JJ Dunne.
Gardaí said the victim, a champion bodybuilder believed to be in his early 30s, suffered several gunshot wounds to the upper body.
The attacker is believed to have fled the scene in a silver BMW Mini with northern registration plates which made off in the direction of Finglas, gardaí said.
Officers in Cabra are investigating.
Shell casings and two black sports bags could be seen at the entrance to the warehouse-type fitness centre where the shooting was carried out.
Mr Enright has undergone emergency surgery in the Mater Hospital in Dublin, where his condition is described as critical. He survived a gun attack in January 2011 when he was shot several times as he sat in a car outside a house in Clonsilla, west Dublin. He was also reportedly living under a death threat.
The shooting follows a separate attack in Swords, north Dublin, on Monday when a man escaped uninjured in an attempted murder as he was leaving a gym. It is understood the attacker’s gun jammed in the incident.
Meanwhile, gardaí believe a man found at the Riverside apartment complex in Letterkenny, Co Donegal was stabbed to death.
His body was found by his brother at around 11am yesterday.
He was named locally as Bogdan Michalkiawicz, a Polish national in his 40s.
