Witness received photographs of murder victim

A murder trial witness told of receiving photographs sent from a mobile phone showing the victim with blood on his head and his hands tied.

However, Wesley de Gomez, a Brazilian living in Gort, Co Galway, said his compatriot Bruno Lemes de Sousa, aged 28, was still alive when he received the photos on Feb 16, 2012.

Mr de Sousa’s body was found floating in a boghole, near Listowel, Co Kerry, on Mar 11, 2012.
