Kenny hits out at FF’s economic policies

The Taoiseach has launched his fight back against Fianna Fáil’s resurgence in opinion polls, urging people to give serious consideration to the record of the previous administration.

In an effort to put Fianna Fáil on the back foot at the opening of its ard fheis in Dublin, Enda Kenny challenged its leader, Micheál Martin, to take full responsibility for his party’s “exclusive role” in bringing about the economic crisis.

He said Fianna Fáil “have never accepted their central responsibility”.
