New Tayto bar, sacrilege or genius?

They’re more elusive than Willy Wonka’s golden ticket but the jury remains out on Tayto’s ‘cheese and onion’ chocolate bar.

In the Irish Examiner newsroom, staff with a near religious zeal for chocolate and Taytos blankly declared the new bar “wrong ” and “vile” while another thundered “do you really want a lingering taste of onion after eating chocolate?”

Yet, the limited edition bars, initially only released to Spar shops, are flying out the door according to shop owners.
