Cork-based printing company Webprint is to make 26 of its staff redundant.

Staff at the Mahon-based plant, which employs 46 people, were informed of the decision yesterday morning.

Last month the printing company lost the contract to print a number of newspaper titles, including the Irish Examiner, on behalf of the former Thomas Crosbie Holdings (TCH).
