Probe call over ex-IMO chief’s jet hire

A GP has called for full disclosure to revelations that his representative union, the Irish Medical Organisation, paid for the use of a private jet for its former chief executive.

Cathal Ó Suilliobháin said the IMO needed to clarify why it had chartered jets on a number of occasions to transport former CEO George McNeice.

“Not only that, but the question really is, who was with him on these flights?” Dr Ó Suilliobháin asked.
