Sex shop operators face charges over tablets

The operators of a Dublin sex shop are being prosecuted for selling a Viagra-like anti-impotence drug without authorisation.

Brian O’Byrne, of Capel St in Dublin, and Jacqueline Byrne, who has an address at Elmcastle Drive, Kilnamanagh, Tallaght, Dublin, have been accused of breaching medicinal products regulations.

The case brought against them by the Irish Medicines Board relates to products that were allegedly on sale at an adult shop called Shauna’s, on Dublin’s Capel St, in 2010.
