Newlywed found at cliff edge after row with wife

A massive search was launched early yesterday after a newly married man ‘took off’ after a row with his wife.

The newlywed left a hotel in West Clare at around 6.30am and had a bottle of vodka with him.

When there was no sign of the groom returning to the hotel, the alarm was raised at around 8am and a more extensive search was mounted.
