A terminally ill woman taking a landmark case on assisted suicide regrets not ending her life when she was able to do it herself.

Fleming regrets not  killing  herself, appeal court told

Seven Supreme Court judges are hearing the appeal of the 59-year-old multiple sclerosis sufferer Marie Fleming, which was fast-tracked through the system.

Ms Fleming, from Co Wicklow, wants to be saved a “horrible death” and be allowed to die peacefully and with dignity in her own home, with the people she loves around her.
