Du Plantier murder a ‘continuing nightmare’ for Sophie’s parents

The unsolved murder ofSophie Tuscan du Plantier remains a “continuing nightmare” for her parents.

In West Cork for a Mass to mark the 16th anniversary of her death, Georges, 87, and Marguerite Bouniol, 85, said they draw strength from the support of the local community.

They paused for a moment’s reflection at the memorial that marks the spot where their daughter’s body was found outside her holiday home in Toormore, Schull, in Dec 1996.
