Singer Nadine ‘would not be torn like McIlroy’

Girls Alouds star Nadine Coyle has revealed she would never been torn between two identities like Rory McIlroy as the Derry singer considers herself to be 100% Irish.

Even though she grew up in Northern Ireland, the 27-year-old said pop beauty said yesterday that she would never feel British.

The singer, who seemed unaware of Rory McIlroy’s Olympic dilemma until yesterday, told the Tubridy Show that she would play under the tricolour if she was faced with the same decision as the world’s No 1 golfer.
