Stores to open early for sales on St Stephen’s Day

Some of Cork city’s large department stores will open early on St Stephen’s Day for the sales.

Debenhams is kicking off early with an 8am opening, with Brown Thomas’s doors opening to bargain hunters an hour later.

A host of shops on Opera Lane, including River Island and New Look, will open at 8am, while Penneys on St Patrick’s Street is due to open at 12pm.
