‘I want to die in the arms of my partner and my children’

Marie Fleming has reached the terminal stage of multiple sclerosis.

She has been in constant pain for 24 years. Sometimes it is so bad she feels like “her head is going to burst open”.

The 58-year-old is trapped inside a body that doesn’t function. Her arms and legs are paralysed.
