Taoiseach seeks to ease fears of Fine Gael TDs over actions on abortion

Taoiseach Enda Kenny has sought to placate the fears of Fine Gael TDs over the actions the Government intends to take on abortion.

For the second time in two days TDs have expressed concerns about suicidal risk as a grounds for terminations.

At the first meeting on Tuesday there were heated exchanges between a number of TDs and Health Minister James Reilly and Justice Minister Alan Shatter.
