Kenny heckled by Left Alliance protesters

Taoiseach Enda Kenny was heckled by protesters when he arrived in Killarney, Co Kerry, for the presentation of a humanitarian award on Saturday night.

Kenny heckled by Left Alliance protesters

A small group, who said they were from the Kerry branch of the United Left Alliance, held up placards and jeered Mr Kenny as he entered the Killarney Plaza Hotel.

They protested about the salaries and pensions of bankers and politicians, and multi-billion euro bailout payments.
