Aer Lingus work stoppageslook set to be called off
ICTU and Ibec have asked the Labour Relations Commission to once again convene the airline’s group of unions and management to discuss ways of resolving the €750m deficit in the Irish airlines superannuation scheme.
After reviewing the issues, LRC chief executive Kieran Mulvey should “report formally to the parties on the outcome of the discussions held to date and give his assessment of the measures needed to achieve a final resolution of those issues where differences remain”, Ibec and ICTU said in a statement.
