Searches for 3 missing people
The 31-year-old au pair, who is four months pregnant, is one of three people to go missing in unrelated incidents in the last week.
She has not been seen since Thursday night, when she was spotted at Colliers Lane in Portlaoise, Co Offaly. just after 8pm. It is believed that Aoife arranged to get a lift from Portlaoise on the night she went missing.
Her mobile phone was traced to the Mountmellick area but was turned off 50 minutes after Aoife was last seen. She is 5ft7in, slim, and has blond hair and blue eyes. When last seen she was wearing jeans and a knitted jumper. She also has a red bomber-style jacket with her. Anyone with information should contact Portlaoise Garda Station on 057 8674100, or the Garda confidential line on 1800 666 111.
Meanwhile, Cormac Clare, 18, has not been seen for eight days, after going missing near his home in Kilteel, Co Kildare, last Monday evening.
Cormac is 6ft1n and is of thin build. He has short, tightly cut brown hair. When last seen he was wearing a navy jacket, a wine-coloured hooded top, plain navy cotton tracksuit bottoms and runners.
