Date for hearing on tunnel junction

A date has been determined for an oral hearing into the €100m upgrade of the Jack Lynch Tunnel/Dunkettle interchange.

It will take place at the Silver Springs Moran Hotel on Nov 14.

Only one day has been set aside for the hearing, primarily because there was widespread approval for the project when the National Roads Authority (NRA) held a public consultation meeting last February at which it presented five possible improvement options.
