Kenny: No second report on child hospital site

A second report into the best location for the proposed new national children’s hospital has not been commissioned by the Government or any individual minister, the Taoiseach has insisted.

However, Enda Kenny said the former Dublin City manager, John Fitzgerald, was “asked questions in an informal way” about the sites considered in the Dolphin Report.

Mr Kenny said the Government would announce the location for the hospital within two weeks.
