Gardaí investigate after schoolgirl fight video goes viral

A Cork secondary school has described a fight between two young female pupils that went viral as “appalling and unacceptable” as three students were suspended last night and more face similar sanctions.

Gardaí confirmed last night that they were investigating the incident.

Up to 50 roaring children formed a ring around the two girls, believed to be 12 or 13, and urged them to hit and pull each other’s hair.
