Siobhan Healy, aged 31, from Willsborough in Ballinlough, Co Roscommon, died as a result of the accident which happened shortly after she had attended a Britney Spears concert at the O2 on Oct 23 last year. She was on the Tip Top ride when she fell. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

At Dublin Coroner’s Court yesterday, Inspector Gerry Donnelly told the court that gardaí are nearing completion of their investigation into the death.

“There is one more witness to be interviewed. That will take place in the next fortnight and we anticipate that a file will go to the Director of Public Prosecutions in November,” he said.

Ms Healy’s body was identified at the Mater Hospital by her uncle Sean Kilboyle. He told the court that Ms Healy was an only child, survived by her mother.

Coroner Dr Brian Farrell said the pathologist had given the cause of death as multiple traumatic injuries as a result of a fall from a height. He adjourned the inquest for further mention on Feb 4 next year.
