Second charge in Geoghegan murder

A Limerick man is due to be charged at the Special Criminal Court today with the murder of Shane Geoghegan, aged 28, who was gunned down near his home on Nov 9, 2008.

Last February, Barry Doyle, aged 26, of Portland Row, Dublin, was jailed for life for the murder.

The man due to be charged today, the second to be charged in the case, is 30 years of age.
