Searches launched for missing fishermen
At around 9.30 last night, the Marine Rescue Co-ordination Centre of the Coastguard in Valentia received a report of a vessel upturned off Cod’s Head in Cork.
A father and his teenage son are believed to have been on board the vessel at the time and are understood to have clung to the vessel for a period of time before the son successfully swam to shore to raise the alarm.
