An Offaly big ambassadorial show mission

AS many as 50,000 people visited Tullamore yesterday to learn about Irish agriculture.

The Co Offaly town’s annual agricultural show, in conjunction with the AIB National Livestock Show, has become an industry shop window on a par with the Ploughing Championships.

So much so, that fact- finding missions from at least three embassies attended yesterday.
