Seán Quinn and his family have been granted over €30,000 in monthly living expenses, including over €5,000 for jailed Seán Quinn Jr and €2,895 for his wife, Karen Woods.

The orders were sought because the accounts of the family members remain frozen below €50m each.

Mr Justice Peter Kelly in the Commercial Court also granted Irish Bank Resolution Corporation orders freezing the accounts of Ms Woods, who married Seán Quinn Jr earlier this year, and appointing receivers over her assets, apart from two rented properties and the home in Dublin she shares with her husband. Ms Woods consented to those orders.
