PTSB to close 4 branches in Cork

The landmark Permanent TSB branch at Lapp’s Quay will be one of four of the bank’s Cork branches to close by the end of the year.

A Permanent TSB spokes- man confirmed yesterday branches at Mayfield, Cobh and Youghal will also close as part of a restructuring plan.

The 30 staff affected will be given the opportunity to be redeployed or accept voluntary redundancy.
