‘Guy with the sweet left foot’ buried after concert death

There were heartbreaking scenes in Huntstown, Co Dublin, at the funeral Mass yesterday of a man who died shortly after attending a concert in Phoenix Park last weekend.

Mourners attending the funeral of Lee Scanlon wept openly during the ceremony which local parish priest, George Begley, said marked a tragic death.

The 20-year-old, from Sorrell Heath, Clonsilla, was found in an unconscious state at the Swedish House Mafia concert last Saturday.
