Results ‘passport’ on cards for primary pupils

Pupils making the move to secondary school this September will have a report on their reading and writing standards sent ahead of them.

For the first time, primary schools will be required to share the information with the schools taking responsibility for their former students.

It will include the results of standard exams taken in sixth class.
