Some of the country’s greatest basketball legends will shoot some hoops at a tournament over the weekend in a bid to raise much-needed funds for charity.

Former Ireland international Mark Keenan, shooting sensation Tom O’Sullivan, and Sandie Fitzgibbon are among the basketball greats from the 1980s who will take part in an inaugural two-day Masters tournament at Neptune Stadium in Cork to raise funds for Marymount Hospice.

Other big names from the past set to display their skills include Deora Marsh and Liam McHale from Ballina Basketball Club, Ricardo Leonard, who played for Tigers and Neptune, and former international John McHale.
