South is second best in weather stakes

Cork people have been left gazing enviously at the capital over the past few days as the bulk of the heat wave has favoured some parts of the country more than others.

While Dublin and much of the rest of the country was hit with tropical conditions, parts of Munster have borne the brunt of the more cloudy conditions. That’s not to say it hasn’t been glorious, just not quite as glorious as in the rest of the country.

Indeed, it looks like the South will be coming off second best in the weather stakes for the rest of the week.
