Council to engage with public as part of Marina redesign

Cork City Council is preparing to engage the public as part of its continuing plans to redesign amenity areas on the Marina.

The local authority is inviting as many people as possible to City Hall on Tuesday next to examine plans which have already been drawn up by its consultants, Dutch and Irish landscape architects OKRA and REDscape.

They have begun the preparation of a landscape masterplan for green spaces surrounding the Marina and stretching from the Showgrounds in Ballintemple to Church Avenue, Blackrock.
