Jamie to open Dublin eaterie

Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver will follow up his appearance at the Taste of Dublin festival by opening his own restaurant in the capital, it emerged yesterday.

The Londoner will open his first venture on Irish soil when Jamie’s Italian opens in the Dundrum Town Centre later this year.

Diners won’t be the only ones shouting Jamie’s now-ditched trademark ‘Pukka’ catchphrase at the news, as 75 job opportunities will open up as part of the venture.
