Munster’s rugby stars are ready for a ribbing today as they turn their talents to serving chicken at a well known Cork eatery.

Rugby stars set to spice up charity fundraiser

After being ruthlessly undressed by the Ospreys in their Rabo Direct PRO12 semi-final at the weekend, the players will don aprons for charity this evening at Nando’s in Mahon Point Shopping Centre.

Led by Donncha O’Callaghan and featuring Ronan O’Gara, Donnacha Ryan, Billy Holland, Peter O’Mahony and Simon Zebo, the players will cook, host and serve Nando’s chicken to raise money for Cork Simon Community.

The players will start their shift at 6pm and will work through the evening. Access to the restaurant will be based on a strictly first come first served basis.

Eating will not be the only thing on the menu at Nando’s on the night with a raffle drawn at the end of the players’ shift. Prizes will include two Munster jerseys (signed by the attending players) and free Nando’s for a year. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase on the night with all proceeds going directly to Cork Simon Community.
