Birthday boy Derek swings into action

They hucklebucked the night away at a very special birthday bash in East Cork last night.

Some of the stars of Irish country music turned out to help Crystal Swing frontman Derek Burke celebrate his 21st birthday with close family and friends, and about 300 invited guests, at the Midleton Park Hotel.

Derek’s grandmother, Marion Murray, who will be 91 in September, was among the guests of honour.
