Rapist staying at special child care unit

A young rapist has been staying in a HSE accommodation in Limerick which cares for vulnerable girls aged 12 to 18, it has emerged.

The 18-year-old has completed a sentence in St Patrick’s Institution for rape.

Over the past month, the registered sex offender has been staying at a special residential child care unit run by the HSE.
