Evicted couple continue to camp

A couple who hit national headlines over their eviction from a luxury mansion in south Dublin over a week ago are continuing to camp outside their former home.

Brendan Kelly and his German-born wife Asta are still sleeping each night in a tent on a footpath in front of their house at St Matthias Wood, Killiney, despite recent bad weather. The pair have also moved a camper van into the secluded gated area where they had lived since 2004, when they bought their home for €3.2m.

Their high-profile eviction became a web sensation as footage of Mr Kelly being forcibly removed from the property was uploaded onto the internet.
